Missions
1. Strategy and Management of Brand Visual Identity:
- Define, structure, and ensure a cohesive and strong graphic identity for ELLE, maintaining the brand DNA across 50 editions (print and digital).
- Develop, update, and disseminate the guidelines for the international graphic charter (editorial content, artistic direction, marketing, and digital assets).
- Support local teams in creating tailored adaptations that meet their needs while preserving the brand’s premium positioning and consistency.
- Conduct international creative monitoring (competitors, typography, design, UX/UI trends) to anticipate market evolutions and propose relevant innovations.
2. Global Artistic Direction:
- Develop an ambitious, innovative, and cohesive artistic vision for editorial content and communication materials (print, digital, events, video).
- Oversee and validate graphic creations for international productions intended for local editions.
- Create content mockups for special ELLE International projects (collaborative features, exclusive productions, B2B materials).
- Design corporate communication materials (strategic presentations, marketing and sales team documents, visuals for international events).
3. Digital Dimension and Innovations:
- Analyze and advise editions on optimizing the graphic and ergonomic quality of their websites and social media, ensuring a high-quality online user experience.
- Collaborate with digital teams to integrate innovative tools and formats into editorial productions (rich media, motion design, interactive storytelling).
- Identify creative and strategic opportunities via digital innovations (augmented reality, generative AI, interactivity).
- Ensure the alignment of brand visual codes across the digital ecosystem (websites, newsletters, social media).
4. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Projects:
- Oversee the graphic coordination of major international brand events (ELLE Style Awards, seminars, key partnerships, B2B and B2C campaigns).
- Work closely with editorial, marketing, commercial, and technical teams to ensure flawless project execution aligned with strategic objectives.
- Propose distinctive creative solutions to strengthen the brand’s image and international impact.
5. Creative Team Management:
- Lead an internal team of graphic designers, motion designers, and interns while coordinating with external providers.
- Implement effective workflows to ensure high-quality graphic production.
- Foster innovation and support the professional development of team members.
Profil
Technical and Creative Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and UX/UI design tools (Figma, Sketch).
- Strong digital culture, including an in-depth understanding of web platforms, social networks, and emerging technological trends (AI, AR/VR, digital interactivity).
- Excellent knowledge of luxury, fashion, and editorial design codes.
- Ability to develop a strategic creative vision, balancing innovation with adherence to brand values.
- Strong international graphic culture and sensitivity to new visual trends (typography, motion design, visual storytelling).
Professional Qualities:
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment with diverse stakeholders (local publishers, partners, service providers).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally.
- Rigorous organization and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Natural leadership with the ability to motivate and persuade.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in artistic direction or managing graphic projects, ideally in the press (print & digital), fashion, or luxury sectors.
- Proven experience in team management and coordination of international projects.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
